Suwannee County had two gas stations selling regular gas at the lowest price of $3.89 per gallon during the week ending Mar. 28, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

Countywide, regular gas averaged $3.97 per gallon.

Of the 34 reported gas stations located within Suwannee County, 12 offered regular gas.

For comparison, the average price of regular gas in Florida was $3.92 per gallon for the week ending Mar. 28, unchanged from the previous week.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
