The #7 ranked Falcons take on the state of Florida this Friday at the Florida State Invitational.
The Falcons moved all the way up the USTFCCCA poll from 17th to 7th after a solid race at the St Leo Invitational two weeks ago. Lead by Sebastian Hernandez, the Falcons will compete against a large field of Florida teams that include FSU, Miami, USF, Tampa, Embry Riddle, and Region 8 rivals Lake Sumter, Pasco Hernando, and Tallahassee CC.
The course which plays host to the Region 8 meet Oct 28th and the NJCAA national meet Nov 12th is one that can lend to faster times than previous courses the Falcons have manuveured this fall. The men’s 8000 meter race starts at 7:40am, with the women’s 5000 meter race to follow at 8:15 am.
