Suwannee River Regional Library System issued the following announcement on Sept. 29.

Check out our Banned Book display at our Live Oak branch. #BannedBooksWeek is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read and was launched in 1982 in response to a sudden surge in the number of challenges to books in schools, bookstores and libraries. It highlights the value of free and open access to information. Banned Book Week – September 26-October 2.
