Bethune-Cookman University recently issued the following announcement.

The Southwestern Athletic Conference has named Bethune Cookman’s Kristopher Brown its SWAC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week.

Brown had a solid weekend as he turned in B-CU’s top finish in a running event at the Samford Invite, finishing in sixth in the 200 meters (21.87) on Saturday. On Sunday he 

followed that with a second-place finish in the 60 meters with a time of 6.85. On Friday his 60-meter time of 6.87 earned him a seventh-place finish at the event.

B-CU is competing at the South Carolina Invitational this weekend.
