Bethune-Cookman University recently issued the following announcement.
Bethune-Cookman’s Thea Shaw has been named The Southwestern Athletic Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Field Athlete of the Week.
Shaw, a junior from Washington, D.C., picked up a couple of seventh place finishes in the high jump (1.60 meters) and with the 4X400 meter relay team of Alyssa Williams, Kaiel
Kimble and Indya Campbell .last weekend at the Gamecock Opener at the University of South Carolina.
The Wildcats are in Birmingham, Ala., for two events this weekend – the Samford Open and the KMS Invite.
