Daytona State Falcons Women’s Soccer Cracks NJCAA Top 20 in Week 1

The Daytona State College women’s soccer team achieved the program’s first NJCAA Top 20 ranking of the 2022 season on Monday according to the NJCAA Division 1 Women’s Soccer Rankings.  The Falcons, who were receiving votes in the NJCAA Preseason poll, moved into the 20 spot following their first week of season play.

The Falcons are currently 1-0-1 following a draw against #13 Louisiana State University Eunice on Friday.  Earlier in the week, the Falcons garnered their opening win on the road 11-0 against Georgia Military College.

The Falcons will face #10 NJCAA Division II Southwestern Illinois (0-1-1) in their home opener September 1st at 7:00pm and USC Lancaster (0-1-0) on Sunday, September 4th at 2:00pm.
