The United Soccer Coaches have officially released the first ranking for the upcoming fall 2022 season! The Falcons Men’s Soccer team find themselves ranked 7th overall after a fantastic season last year. Coming into the 2022 season as both Region 8 and Southeast District Champions, the men’s soccer team will be put to the test the very first week of their season.
Here are Coach Joe’s words for the upcoming season, “As coaches, we have no doubt that we have a talented team. Coach Bart has recruited yet another solid group of young men. At this point, it’s about understanding that nothing will be easy. It’s a winning mentality that each player must have throughout our season for us to be successful. We cannot rest on the past season’s success.”
The Falcons will have their work cut out for them this season! Starting the season off with a bang, men’s soccer will face off against Top 10 ranked Salt Lake (3) and LSU Eunice (10). With the return of second year sophomores Kevin Kelly, William Diaz, and Taichi Inoue, the Falcons will be looking to their experience and leadership to help prepare the 18 new freshmen for the battles ahead.
