Bethune-Cookman University recently issued the following announcement.

It has been an eventful week for Bethune-Cookman’s Dylan Robertson, who, after being named to the Sunshine Slam’s All-Tournament team last weekend, has been named this week’s SWAC Impact Player of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday.

Robertson, a senior from Tuscaloosa, AL, has been a strong presence in the paint for the Wildcats. The 6-9 center earns the first weekly honors of his career after posting 34 points on a .640 shooting percentage to go along with nine rebounds and four blocks in two games at last weekend’s Sunshine Slam at the Ocean Center.

Robertson currently ranks second on the Wildcats in scoring, first in rebounds, and first in shooting percentage, all while averaging the most minutes per game among his teammates. Robertson’s .600 shooting clip is the best in the SWAC to start the season, and he ranks third in blocks per game

After Thanksgiving, the Wildcats will head to New Jersey to take #21 Seton Hall, Sunday at noon in Newark.
