Payton Waters, a former Suwannee High School standout, pitched for Jacksonville Dolphins as they suffered a 4-1 defeat to the West Georgia Wolves on Saturday, March 14, at 3 p.m. in NCAA Division I baseball.
Hosted at Cole Field, this marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. The Dolphins lost their previous matchup to the Wolves on Friday, March 13, with a final score of 8-7.
Waters pitched 6.2 innings, surrendering two earned runs, walking one, and striking out four batters.
Jacksonville’s next game is set for Sunday, March 15, at 12 p.m. at Cole Field against the West Georgia Wolves.
