Jacksonville Dolphins fall to UNC Wilmington in NCAA Division I baseball matchup

Former Suwannee High School standout Payton Waters and the Jacksonville Dolphins dropped their NCAA Division I baseball game to UNC Wilmington, 9-4, on Saturday, March 7, at 2 p.m.

John Sessions Stadium hosted the contest, which marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. Jacksonville also lost the previous game to the Seahawks, 8-3, on Friday, March 6.

Waters pitched five innings, allowing three earned runs, with one walk and three strikeouts.

The Dolphins are set to play again Sunday, March 8, at 1 p.m. against UNC Wilmington at John Sessions Stadium.
