Men’s tennis team to compete at Saint Leo Invitational

Eastern Florida State College issued the following announcement on Oct. 14.

The Eastern Florida State College men’s tennis team will be competing in the Lion Fall Invitational this weekend at Saint Leo University’s tennis center.

The Titans will play in the singles competition this week against players from St. Thomas, Southeastern, Warner University and host Saint Leo beginning Friday with the final matches scheduled for Sunday.

Freshman Santino Morel Reider will play in Flight A, opening the tournament against St. Thomas’ Raul Safont at 12:45 p.m. on Friday.

Sophomore Lluc Pasqual Camps will also open at 12:45 p.m. Friday in Flight B, playing St. Thomas’ Thomas Andrews in the first round.

In Flight C, freshman Jaewoo Choi will play Southeastern’s Theodor Preiswerk at 2:30 p.m. Friday and in Flight D, sophomore Bernardo Gandara will open against Warner University’s Miguel Ferreira at 2:30 p.m. Friday.

The tournament will be the final fall event for the men’s tennis team.
