The Patriots showed off some power pitching and hitting in their 6-4 win over the St. Johns River Vikings on Wednesday afternoon at Goodlett Field. Jackson Taylor (4th) and Caleb Cali (13th) both went deep to power the Pats offense while Landon Ginn tossed five innings of one hit shutout baseball. 

Ginn improved to 6-1 on the season. Parker Seay earnedhis third save of the season throwing an inning with no hits and one strikeout. 

Edrick Felix went 2 for 4 with a double and Jared Evans added on two hits with a double. The win was 

the 16th straight for the Pats and they are 25-1 over their last 26 games.

Central Florida (38-13, 24-2) will hit the road this weekend when they travel to Palatka on Friday to finish the three-game series with the St. Johns River Vikings (25-26, 13-13) and 

then head to Sanford on Saturday to start the final series of the season against the Seminole State College Raiders (26-19, 16-10).
