Taylor County ranked 61st in Florida for resident earnings in 2019

Taylor County ranked 61st among counties in Florida by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Taylor County residents was $21,515 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 7,405 households with a population of 21,870.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was St. Johns County with $36,462 per year after adjusting for inflation – $14,947 more than Taylor County. It had 88,773 households with a population of 244,674.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Hamilton County with $20,544 per year after adjusting for inflation – $971 less than Taylor County. It had 4,381 households with a population of 14,326.
