Obituary for Mrs Melody Brown Evans
Mrs. Melody Down Brown Evans, age 69, passed away at her home on July 10, 2021. She was born to her parents, Joseph and Wilma Brown, on November 7, 1951, in Port Arthur, Texas.
Melody is survived by her husband, Bruce Evans, two daughters, Amy Wagner (Tim) of Chandler, Arizona and Jumelia Lee of Perry, Florida; one son, Tommy Lee (Felicia); two brothers, Buddy Brown of Lake City, Florida and Danny Joe Brown of Perry,Florida; four sisters, Tammy White, of Wakulla, Florida, Rhonda Diver of Lake Seminole , Florida, and Wanda Cordoba of Miami, Florida, and Julie Matsinger of Perry, Florida; eight grandchildren, Garrett, T.J., Ryan, Avery, Reagan, Jordan, Kayden, and Rayden, and one great grandson, Kade.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilma and Joseph Brown, brothers David Brown and Billy Brown, a sister, Ann Brown, and a stepson, Clay Evans.
Melody will be remembered for never meeting a stranger. She had a huge heart and cared for everyone. She took pride in hosting family reunions. She will be forever missed and always loved.
She was a proud member of plumbers and pipefitters.
Local Union # 234 Jacksonville, Florida.
There will be a Graveside service at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Walker Cemetery in Lamont, Florida.
