SUWANNEE HIGH SCHOOL: Having a dedicated staff and a supporting community allowed us to have a successful 2020-2021 school year

Suwannee High School issued the following announcement on July 12.

Attention Parents:

Having a dedicated staff and a supporting community allowed us to have a successful 2020-2021 school year. Although we had our challenges, hard work and dedication enabled us to see our way through the given circumstances. The administration team is in need of your support for the 2021-2022 school year as well. Data shows that dress code and cell phone infractions were our disciplinary concerns for the past year.

In efforts to decrease these infractions, dress code images showing examples of inappropriate dress and appropriate dress for SHS are shown below. We have heard your request of having this information prior to purchasing clothing and we hope this information is helpful.

In addition, a bell schedule has been included with the highlighted areas showing the times students are allowed to receive calls/texts or make calls/send texts. Abiding by the dress code and cell phone guidelines will promote academic success for all students.
