Swimming and Diving Announce 2021-22 Schedule

University of Florida Athletics issued the following announcement on Aug. 17.

 Florida Gators head swimming coach Anthony Nesty announced the 2021-22 schedule Tuesday afternoon, highlighted by six home meets this season.

To open the season, Florida will head to Boca Raton, Fla., to take on FAU at 10 a.m. on October 2. The Gators will close out October with their first home meet of the season on October 29, against Georgia.

On November 5, the Gators will face Florida State in Tallahassee, Fla., then head to Atlanta, Ga., on November 18-20 for the Georgia Tech Invitational.

To close out 2021, some Gators will head to Greensboro, N.C., on December 1-4 for the US Open. Then, the Florida divers will head to the University of Auburn for the Auburn Invite on December 17-21.

In the month of January, the Gators have four home meets beginning with Texas A&M on January 8 at 10 a.m. On January 22, Florida will take on Auburn at 10 a.m., then on the 29th, the Gators will host Tennessee at 10 a.m. Florida is also set to host a diving invitational some time during January (date and time are TBD).

In February, there are two last chance meets with the first being the Auburn Last Chance Invitational on February 4-6, while the second is back at home during the end of February (date and time are TBD). Both the men's and women's teams will head to Knoxville, Tenn., for the SEC Championships on February 15-19.

The divers will start off the month of March competing at the NCAA Diving Zones on March 6-9 in Atlanta, Ga. The women will head to the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships on March 16-19, then the men to follow on March 23-26, both held at Georgia Tech in Atlanta.
