Bethune-Cookman University issued the following announcement on Nov. 5.
The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats were defeated in straight sets by the Rattlers of Florida A&M, Friday night in Tallahassee.
It was a slow start for the Wildcats (5-20, 5-9 SWAC) Friday night against the team with the best overall record in the SWAC. The Rattlers (20-6, 12-2 SWAC) defended their spot near the top of the conference with 25-4, 25-14, and 25-21 wins in straight sets for the victory.
Dominique led FAMU with 19 kills. Irem Ucar finished with 37 assists.
B-CU's Alleah Dallas contributed four blocks, three of them solo, and led the Wildcats with 7.5 points.
Next up for the Wildcats, they will travel to Huntsville, Ala., for the penultimate game of the 2021 regular season. They are scheduled to take on Alabama A&M on Nov. 10 at 7 p.m.
