Falcons Streak into Christmas Break with win over DME

Daytona State College issued the following announcement on Dec. 16.

Daytona State wins the third game in a row behind big contributions throughout the lineup, game-high 16 points from sophomore Shayla Bouie in Thursday's victory vs. DMESports 

Academy 64-54.  The Falcons guard was 4-for-8 from the floor, 8-for-12 from the charity stripe, with four rebounds, and five steals to lead the Falcons. 

Sophomore Guard Kimeira Burks added 15 points shooting 6-for-6 from the free-throw line, Freshman Kierra Wheeler, 13 points, seven rebounds, two steals, one block, and 

Sophomore Guard Tanyia Gordon logged 11 points, nine rebounds, and four steals.

The Falcons (8-3) return home on December 31st vs. Indian River State College at 6:00 p.m.
