HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Sharks needed to remain within the Top-5 to advance to next week's National Championship tournament in Georgia. However, NSU ultimately ended up on the outside looking in after what was a wild finish in which the leaderboard's No. 3-9 teams were only separated by five strokes.
- After both concluded their final rounds at 37-over par for the tournament, Lynn and Limestone settled the regional title in an aggregate playoff on No. 18, where Lynn secured the victory.
- Lee and Anderson (S.C.) also punched their tickets to the National Championship after claiming third and fourth with final scores of (+43) and (+44).
- Barry and Saint Leo entered the clubhouse at 46-over par before the Buccaneers edged the Lions in another aggregate playoff to earn the fifth and final berth into the National Championship.
- NSU's Ellen Andersson and Sofia Garcia Austt each tied for 21st at 12-over par to lead the Sharks for the tournament.
- Nicola Fall shot one-under par over the last six holes o Wednesday to wrap up play at 14-over and tied for 30th.
- Hanna Ahlander tied for 32nd at 15-over par, while Ellen Ramstedt posted her low round of the week of (+4) 75 to earn a share of 49th at 19-over par.
- Barry's Alice Gotbring, the nation's top-ranked player, captured individual medalist honors after edging Lee's Alex Naumovski by one shot with a 54-hole score of (+5) 218.
- Lander's Hannah Stephenson (+8) and Saint Leo's Francesca Santoni (+9) qualified for the National Championship as the Top-2 individuals from non-advancing teams. Santoni defeated Columbus State's Victoria Libaak in a playoff by birdieing No. 10 to secure the final bid.
