4

Daytona State College softball coach Keli Harrell resigned Tuesday after four seasons with the program.

“Daytona State College has been a very special place for me, and I have enjoyed my time here. I want to thank our athletic administration including Will Dunne and Alison Mohr for believing in me and being quality mentors during my tenure,” stated Harrell.

“Keli has been a great human being during her time with us and she invested in her students both as a coach and classroom instructor. I want to thank Keli for her dedication to our softball program and student-athletes over the past four years. All of us wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors,” stated athletic director Will Dunne.

“We are committed to building a winning program and developing young women who are leaders on and off the field. Thanks to the support of our Board of Trustees, President, senior administration, and faculty we have all the support here to attract a top candidate. We will begin a national search for our next softball head coach,” noted Dunne.
