The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team will hit the road Thursday for a Suncoast Conference match against No. 4 Miami-Dade College.
The Titans come into the matchup 12-4 overall and 3-3 in the conference and have won three of the past four matches.
Miami Dade is 14-4 overall and 6-0 in the conference. The Sharks have won the past 10 matchups including the first match of the season with the Titans 3-0.
The Sharks are led by Kayla Perez who is leading Region 8 in digs (300) and digs per set (6.52) as well as service aces per set.
Eastern Florida State College's Gaia Riedmuller is third in digs with 215 and is fourth in digs per set at 3.84. Teammate Juliana De Acharan is averaging 7.62 assists per set which is third in the state.
Thursday's match will begin at 6 p.m. at Miami Dade College. It is the first of two conference matches on the road as the Titans will travel to Indian River State College on Saturday. They will be back at Titan Field House Thursday, October 13 against Polk State College at 6 p.m.
