Davies Inks Commitment to NSU Women's Tennis | Nova Southeastern University

A new addition is coming to the second-ranked Nova Southeastern Women's Tennis Team, as Freya Davies – a graduate transfer from the University of Bath in England – will be joining the Sharks for the 2023 spring season, announces Head Coach Doug Neagle.

"We were fortunate to get Freya to Nova Southeastern for a visit. Her goals and passion for Tennis align with our program. She loves the team aspect of collegiate tennis and has proven that with her success playing No. 1 for the University of Bath," said Neagle. "She is a talented player and more importantly, a great person; I am excited to work with her next year."

Davies, the number one player and captain for the University of Bath, is one of the premier players in England and has led her team to the top ranking in England. Additionally, Davies is a three-time medalist at the United Kingdom Championships.

Originally from Winchester, Hampshire, United Kingdom, Davies currently has a 9.65 Universal Tennis Ranking.

The second-ranked Sharks Women's Tennis team will return courts in January 2023. To stay up to date, be sure to follow on Instagram and Twitter at NSU_WTennis.
