Harmon Scores 36, But Wildcats Fall, 102-75

Zion Harmon enjoyed a huge 36-point night, but it was not enough as the Wildcats fell to Southern, 102-75, Monday night in Baton Rouge.

How It Happened

A hot shooting night for the Jaguars saw them shoot 15-29 from deep and 58 percent from the field overall. Two Jaguars scored over 20 in the game.

Harmon topped his previous best scoring effort of 19 thanks to a 12-15 shooting night with an 8-10 clip behind the arc. He set a season-high for the Wildcats in points, field goals made, and three-pointers made.

Marcus Garrett added 16 points. Kevin Davis and Lukas Gudavicius each finished with 6 rebounds.

Notes

  • The Wildcats were out-rebounded 32-25.
  • Southern recorded 28 assists as a team. The Wildcats recorded only seven.
  • 22 turnovers is a season-high for B-CU
Up Next

The Wildcats will open their first SWAC home weekend of the season as they host Mississippi Valley State and Arkansas Pine Bluff. The weekend begins Saturday, Jan. 14 as the Wildcats host the Delta Devils at 4 p.m.
