Third Quarter – With just under six minutes remaining in the quarter, back-to-back three-pointers by Mackenzie Steele and Madison Frederick gave the Sharks a 52-47 lead. NSU held the lead for most of the quarter but a last-second layup by the Spartans pushed them in front by one point heading into the final frame.

Fourth Quarter – At the three-minute mark, Tampa held on to an eight-point lead, but the Sharks would not go away. Rattling six straight points to bring the game within two, featuring baskets from Conley, Frederick, and Skyla Osceola.
