Suwannee County had unemployment rate of 5.3% in 2021

Suwannee County recorded an unemployment rate of 5.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 933 people out of the 43,514 living in Suwannee County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Suwannee County has increased compared to the 5.2% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Suwannee County was nearly equal to the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
