Track & Field Gators Among 2021 Summer Graduates

University of Florida Athletics issued the following announcement on Aug. 7.

The Florida track and field program Saturday will celebrate three student-athletes who earned their degrees this summer.

The three Gators are Thomas Mardal (Business Administration), Lauryn Ghee (Family, Youth and Community Sciences) and Brandee’ Johnson (Family, Youth and Community Sciences).

Mardal, who was crowned NCAA and SEC champion both indoors and outdoors this year, was also named the 2021 Southeastern Conference Outdoor Track and Field Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Meanwhile, Ghee and Johnson earned USTFCCCA All-America honors during their time with the Gators.
