Bethune-Cookman makes its second appearance of the 2022-23 indoor track and field season Friday at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational at the Alachua County Sports Complex at Celebration Point.

The Wildcats opened their six-event indoor season last month at Clemson. They’ll return to Gainesville next week for the RADD Sports Open and Multi Invitational.

Jermine Dyges enters the meet with the fastest 60 meter time (6.77) in the Southwestern Athletic Conference and is currently ranked 16th in the nation.

Amenda Saint-Louis has the top 800 meters time (2:19.37) and is ranked 48th nationally.

Emmanuel Corral is ranked first in the SWAC in the 3000 meters (8:28.32); 2022 NCAA Region competitor Guy Bond is first in the high jump (6’6 ¾) as is Jourdon Cooper in the women’s high jump (4’9″). Tyler Washington has the SWAC’s best shot put throw (42′ 6 ¼).
