Wildcats Grab First Commit of 2023 Class

Bethune-Cookman Volleyball secures its first commit of the 2023 recruiting class, head coach Brittany Williams announced Wednesday.
Chloe Conover will join the Wildcats ahead of next season. The 6’0 opposite hitter hails from Lubbock, Tex. and All Saints Episcopal School, leading her school to three state medals..

Conover ended her last season with 396 kills, 353 digs, 72 aces and 59 blocks earning her first-team all district, district MVP, first team all-state, and all-tournament team honors. She has been awarded Lone Star Varsity Athlete of the Week by the Lubbock Avalanche -Journal, as well as been nominated for USA TODAY’s volleyball athlete of the year.

“With the addition of Chloe, we add another level of depth to an already talented pin class,” Williams said. “She has a strong nose for the ball blocking wise, and is a high-flyer offensively. Wildcat nation is in for a treat watching her play.”
