The second-ranked and unbeaten Nova Southeastern Sharks continued their winning ways, defeating Rollins 98-55 on Wednesday evening from the Rick Case Arena. The Sharks held Rollins to a mere 15 points in the first half, as the Tars shot just 25% from the field and 1-13 from beyond the arc.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half – Nova Southeastern opened the game on a 12-4 run, with both Kobe Rodgers and Jake Maranville knocking down a three-pointer. The Sharks maintained their early momentum, scoring seven consecutive points, extending their lead to 19-4 after the midway point of the first half. RJ Sunahara threw down a dunk in between a pair of three-pointers from Dallas Graziani and Jonathan Pierre, putting NSU in front 29-11. Will Yoakum took over in the late stages of the half, knocking down three consecutive three-pointers for the Sharks, pushing the Nova Southeastern advantage to 38-15. NSU scored the final 10-points of the half, sending the game into the halftime break with the Sharks leading 47-15.
Second Half – Nova Southeastern continued to take and make three-pointers, leading 57-21 following buckets from Pierre and Rodgers. Following a block by Rodgers, Sunahara knocked down a three-pointer, as the NSU advantage surpassed 40-points for the first-time in the contest. Maranville went coast-to-coast and finished a lay-up after recording a steal, putting NSU in front 65-24. Nearing the midway point of the second half, Yoakum and Rodgers each hit another three-pointer, extending the Sharks advantage to 78-32. The Sharks bench closed out Nova Southeastern’s 19th consecutive victory, as the final buzzer sounded with NSU leading 98-55.
